Zusammen mit den PLAY-Besucher*innen klopfen wir an die Türen von Menschen und Firmen, die in unterschiedlichsten Bereichen der Gaming-Welt tätig sind. Streamerin, E-Sports-Trainer, Game Designerin, Professorin und Audio Designer stehen auf der Besuchsliste.
Wir haben uns zusammen mit euch eingeladen, einen Blick in die Arbeitszimmer dieser Menschen zu werfen und uns erklären zu lassen, was ihren Beruf so faszinierend macht. Was empfehlen uns die Gastgeber*innen der Hausbesuche, wenn wir einen ähnlichen Berufswunsch haben? Der Nachteil: Es gibt keine Kekse vor Ort. Der Vorteil: Es können so viele mitkommen, wie mögen. Am Festivaldonnerstag sind wir zu Besuch bei der Game Designerin Christin Matt. Sie arbeitet seit 8 Jahren bei
Innogames als Senior Game Designerin und ist seit 2009 in der Games Industrie und macht schöne Spiele (mobile, PC, Konsole). Christins Berufsfeld ist breit gefächert, dabei ist sie spezialisiert auf System Design / Feature Design für neue Spiele. Das heißt, sie erstellt alles über Regeln, Funktionalität und Handhabung eines Features (oder in Grobform eines ganzen Spiels) bevor es dann gebaut wird.

On Thursday we are visiting the Game Designer Christin Matt. She has been working at
Innogames as a senior game designer for 8 years and since 2009 she's been in the games industry making beautiful games (mobile, PC, console). Christin's field of profession is widely varied. She is specialized in system design and feature design for new games. That means she creates everything about rules, functionality and handling of a feature before it is built.
