PLAY21 - Creative Gaming Festival

Nirgendwo wurde in Krisenzeiten mehr experimentiert als im Theater. Herausgekommen sind verschiedenste fantastische Erlebnisse, welche auch in Zukunft nicht fehlen sollten. Den Abend wollen wir daher gemeinsam in interaktiven, digitalen Aufführungen verschiedener Künstler*innen verbringen. Dabei können die Werke entweder allein oder gemeinsam besucht werden, in Deutsch oder in Englisch. Am nächsten Morgen können wir dann im Garten des PLAYvalleys unsere Erfahrungen austauschen.

Nobody did more experiments during the pandemic than the theaters. They produced diverse and fantastic experiences, where many more should surface in the future. Together, we will leave the evening with interactive, digital plays of some of our favorite artists. Works can be visited either solo or together, in German or English. Let’s meet back in the morning and talk about our experiences in the lush gardens of the PLAYvalley.

Inspired by the early life of visionary Zita Cobb, it tells the story of a young girl growing up on the remote Fogo island with her father during the 1960s and ’70s. More than a historical retelling, it offers a contemporary interpretation of time and place while painting a powerful picture of rural life in that era. As we travel through the radical upheaval in Fogo Island’s fishing industry, we also witness a dramatic transformation of the local communities. We’re invited to immerse ourselves in Cobb's personal history and, in doing so, to think about what we value in the world.

Dungeons&Dragons trifft auf Improschauspieler*innen! Erlebe bei Keep on Rolling, wie ein Haufen von Improschauspieler*innen live eine Science-Fantasy Welt zum Leben erweckt. Dabei gestalten sie mit ihren Spielcharakteren eine eigene Geschichte, in die ihr jederzeit mit eintauchen und beeinflussen könnt. Gespielt wird der Auftakt des Finales (keine Angst, es gibt ein Intro). Wer dann Blut leckt: Eine Fortsetzung im Anschluss wöchentlich.
